hello guys , new to the site and i think it's great! Now hopefully you can help me out. recently did a major overhaul on our 1973 350 b crawler. We replaced the gas engine with a diesel, new steering clutchs (complete) and new main clutch (complete). It sat for 14 years in a garage and when we took it out for a test we noticed that it would pop out of reverse under and load or moving at high rpm. It's even hard to hold into reverse when it pops out. Is there something wong internally, or is something frozen or misadjusted? Any help would be great, we have alot of time and money into this and want it to be working correctly.
thanks

I would have to agree with Lavoy. Either a bad bearing, which would allow the shaft to move end to end, (as well as up and down) or a worn gear. Although....... if it were a bad bearing it seems you may have trouble with other gears as well. Steve.
