John Deere 350B Fuel Injector Line
John Deere 350B Fuel Injector Line
So I replaced the fuel injectors on my machine and it seems like one of the injector lines might need to be replaced. I have a local shop that makes brake, hydraulic lines, etc. Does the replacement have to be a rigid line that has to be bent to shape like is currently on it or can the high pressure line be a flexible maybe even braided type.
Re: John Deere 350B Fuel Injector Line
It needs to be the proper high-pressure injection line. Some injection pump shops can make lines using the old one for a pattern. They are bent to shape as part of the design; the intent is that they are all close to the same length of tubing and they should be same inside diameter. Not something a common hydraulic shop can do. Hose or flexible lines expand slightly under pressure, an injector line doing that would cause problems as the expansion will cause a pressure drop and the injection pump doesn't have volume to overcome that as a hydraulic pump has.
You need the correct line.
