what manual do i want

Post by toad281 » Tue Apr 22, 2025 3:56 am

Hello, this is my first post in this forum. I recently bought a 350BE 132140. [my first dozer] I would like to get a manual, that shows all the lubrication/grease point on the machine. I could see me missing one or two not knowing all their locations. Does the operators manual show these, or do I need the service/technical manual?

Welcome to the Boards.

The Operator's Manual is the one with the info you are looking for. For the most part service/technical manuals do not included normal maintenance details which operators and owners are expected to take care of.

You should be looking for John Deere publication # OMT46859 for your crawler tractor. OMT38742 is the JD publication number for the 6305 inside dozer blade on a 350B.

Lavoy might have these in his store, or might be able to get them for you, if you want to check with him.

Well, I received the manual today, unfortunately the one I got om-t40196 does not have any information on lubrication points. so wasted money there. I will search out the other manual that was recommended and see what I get.

OMT40196 is the Operator's Manual for just the 6300 series blade, not the crawler. (And it does have the lubrication info for the blade. )

Use this link to go to the JD Bookstore for Construction and Forestry Equipment.

https://www.johndeeretechinfo.com/

On that homepage type 350B in the Model box then click the search icon at the right of the center search box. That should open a list of manuals available for the 350B including the blades. OMT46859 is the first one in the list when I do these steps. Click on download and it will download a free pdf copy to your computer, which you can save and print from when you wish.

Thank you, I went to the enclosed link and downloaded just what I was looking for. I will spend some time reading through it and hopefully get most of my questions answered.
