It may have been changed to the later style ....is there a snap ring (about 5 inch) on the outside of the center hub (the one the clutches ride on)?... One of my 2010s has early on one side late on the other

The only other snap ring is the one on the gear that drives the final.

I ordered a pressure plate and a few things from lavoy. Wen it comes in I will try to put it back together without set screw and expansion pins . I found a snap ring that fits so I will just put that on and see what happens .. does anyone know the purpose of the pins and special set screw?. Will just the snap ring work

Just a snap ring wont work ..the expansion ring locates the center hub ...the later ones use a snap ring on the outside of the hub and it is placed between the first and second fiber ...It is very hard to believe that you dont have one or the other as without something to locate the hub it will float out and get out into the pressure plate and lose half the fibers ........ Check your hub for a groove on the outside .....also you could get the later snap ring and have a groove cut in the hub.....PS check your message box .....Good luck Richard

Thanks Richard. The hub that the the fibers and steel fit on has a snapring around it . The snap ring is after the first steel and fiber disk. Is that sound right. . Im not sure how to check my message box
