Hey Stan,
I had a sneaking suspicion you were a fellow ham...I thought you might get a kick out of this meter I found many many years ago...probably at a ham swap meet. It has US Mil inspection stickers from 1965, and weighs as much as a group 1 battery. I didn't get a chance to use it yet, as I fixed the starter problem I had in our new MC, but I know where it is now for next time. Pretty cool meter isn't it? Would be great for servicing the electrical systems on our old machines, starters, gennies etc.

Man, that thing is uber kool! Trust the military to come up with the best gadgets.
Yup, I have been a ham a long time now. That was my start, which lead to a couple of commercial tickets (2nd class, then 1st class, then radar) and then into R+D of communications devices and systems.
