I pulled the engine on my 450c crawler to fix the chatter coming from the clutch and found quite a bit of wear on the input shaft spines.
My question is can I change that shaft through the front cover or do I have to get in there from the top too?
I haven't pulled the clutch housing yet. Just wondering what's ahead.

sorry but you have to go thru the top also to change the input.. the front cover mostly just holds the tranny pump. bearings and seals,,Mark.
