All the owner nows is it is a 70's model. It has a winch and amile
full Rops. With the limb deflectors on it. The owner of the machine has logged with this machine for a while I am going to look at it again this weekend. It has had the transmission rebuilt, new water pump and starter and both steering clutches rebuilt. The owner bought a larger dozer and is wanting 5000 firm for this machine. I don't know a lot about dozers and was wondering if it is worth that price. The owner is frustrated with the machine because he rebuilt the clutches and only the left side will work. I believe the man is honest enough to be telling the truth about machine and he is very firm on the price. But with only the left side steering working is it worth that price for a gamble.
Any info will be much appreciated.
Is 350b worth the price.

I personally will wait to see photos to give an opinion on value. Condition is a big drivers on values of 350s because they are easy machines to abuse, especially loaders. I know this one is a dozer but they can also be abused.
Just so you know if the steering clutch was rebuilt incorrectly, you will have to remove the final drive on that side to repair it which is why the owner is frustrated and why you should factor that into the cost.
So you can ask better questions, I would suggest you do a search for 350s on this site and you can read a plethora of posts about 350s and the specific things you should look for when considering buying one. getting the serial number would also be helpful because you could then get the year of the crawler confirm it is a 350B and not a straight 350.
