HID headlights available now

Post by Lavoy » Wed Dec 18, 2013 5:35 pm

For anyone that wants some really bright lights, I now have HID headlights available for 12V systems. Really bright, fairly low amp draw, about $125 each depending on style.

Nice. Do you have any pics of them installed? What temp. are the bulbs?
Will they interfere with my radio haha, j/k.

I don't, sorry, got mine together before I had them available, so no pic. They are 6000K, 3000-3200 lumens, pull 6 amps at startup, but 3.2 once operating.

I guess I should've clarified my question on the pic. I meant more of a pic with them turned on when it's dark out.
Did you notice it interfering with the charging at all. Not sure that it would but I know those ballasts do some goofy things (that's on cheaper kits though, I know yours isn't).

Oh, sorry, no, don't have one installed right now. I played with one on a crawler for a while to see what it l looked like, very white, very bright, no electrical issues of any sort. It sure lighted up the front of the neighbors house really well.
