The reverser works fine, it runs strong in all 4 forward and reverse gears, the steering feel solid, and the 6-way blade does exactly what it's supposed to do. The dash needs some work - most of the instruments are either broken or gone.
The seller listed it as a 1964, but I can't find a serial number tag anywhere, so have no way of knowing for sure. Any visual clues to help narrow it down a bit?
The first order of business was to tighten the tracks as they were very loose. I cleaned up the idlers and rollers, and found the tensioner on the left is different than the right. On the left, the grease fitting is exposed on the tensioner tube. On the right, you need to remove a large hex bolt to expose the grease fitting. Which of these is the original set-up?
Does anyone recognize which winch model this is? I saw a few numbers, but nothing that I could tell was a model number.
I only had time to push a little dirt to make a flat spot to park the machine, clean it up and snap a few pictures. Looking forward to giving it a more thorough going over soon.
