I have a John Deere 450B-C Approx. 1975...that does not turn well or at all at times....
Have adjusted per the manual and then no turn at all after adjustment....
Question is....since this machine has hours on it what should the fine tune adjustments include?
Manual states to turn out 3 detents for the break adjustment through the housing on the side....should that be to 2 instead?
Should the adjustments in the housing under the seat always be to specs in manual??
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
John Deere 450B-C turning adjustment questions
adjustments on 2010 and 450 must follow the book exactly ...... are your clutches dry? or wet 450b would be dry 450c would be wet part of your turning problem could be that you have a 450b with wet brakes and clutches that should be dry
2010 with 622 dozer with mod. 35 ripper and a 2010 with 622 dozer bought in 1969 and a 2010 loader with drott and mod. 36 ripper
oil on clutch pack and/or on brake band ... with a load in front of the blade/loader bucket if you pull both levers back at the same time does the machine stop? if not then the clutches are not releasing if it does then i would say the brake bands are the problem
