I have one of the main connector hoses from the dozer to the backhoe split. During the repair the quick connector was damaged, and as it was old I could not get a match. So I had all four main connector hoses rebuilt with new quick connectors. it is all assembled but there is no power.
The backhoe stabilizers go down, but do have no power to push the back end of the dozer up. All other backhoe movements are similar, very slow and no power. Before the hose breakage the backhoe had been repaired an would pick the dozer off the ground without issue.
I have not found a model number of the back hoe, but took a few pictures if someone can help me figure this out.
Does the back hoe need to be bled on a 450B?

more likely you are low on fluid in your reservoir. Air will go into the oil, but yes you should crack the fitting a little when you first try to use it.

Thanks, I have a sight glass for the reservoir an I can see it is in the middle, so definitely not too low. The loader works fine.
I would agree that it may be a coupler problem, so I will take those apart and review. While I don't think I did, does anyone know what the impact would be if I had the hoses going to the wrong connections?

I was going to ask a question about how to check the connectors to make sure I have them in the right sequence. I thought I should also go to confirm what pressure the connectors should open at. So I looked in the online pdf I have of the service manual, and find it includes information on the backhoe!! I didn't think it would be there, hopefully I can figure it out now. I am guessing either the connectors are for a higher pressure system, I have them connected in the wrong direction if that is possible, or there is some kind of plug that I didn't remove (although the connector are staying together and not leaking.

My Guess
My guess is you have the two hoses between the the crawler and backhoe mixed up. I had this problem last night with a Case 580 attachment that we tried out on our 450C. Basically, if you get them wrong the backhoe is 100% not functional.
Attachement sold, so we'll put the 580B Case attachment back on after we fix the leaking PTO cover on our crawler.
