Convert 1010 ripper to 3pt hitch?
Hello again, I just found a ripper for a 1010 in a pile of stuff and was wondering if anyone had ever made one into a 3 pt set up? Still working on the purchase price, but hopefully real cheap. Any thoughts?
I want to say there was a previous thread discussing the conversion you are talking about- you might want to search the archives.
(1) JD Straight 450 crawler dozer with manual outside blade; (2) JD 2010 diesel crawler loaders; (1) JD 2010 diesel dozer with hydraulic 6-way blade; (2) Model 50 backhoe attachments, misc. other construction equipment
I just looked at a 350c with a conversion like the one are talking about. It was simple enough, the two bottom pins mounted to the back of the back frame of the ripper and a top adjustable arm.
This set up did not have the means to float but I think that would be a matter of the correct control valve.
The float is handy when you do not want any down pressure like when using a lawn mower or tiller.
