Where does it go? 350C radiator "barrier"

Post by JDfixer3 » Tue Apr 03, 2012 8:14 pm

I pulled the hard nose off my 350C and found what the parts book calls a barrier in the bottom. I suspect the previous owner just left it lay on purpose. Can someone tell me where it fits? I have the radiator removed to clean it but don't see any holes that line up. Does the rubber strip face towards the engine like the parts diagram shows? Thanks for the help!

Hi

The "barrier" is to keep crap from going down under the radiator . It basically sits on top of the hydraulic pump, and is held down by the front grille when its placed in the nose. It can be a tight fit when getting it in and out of there, and yes the rubber goes towards the radiator.
