need dozer hauled

Post by CatD8RII » Fri May 06, 2011 10:56 am

Hey Guys

Was wondering if anyone was interested or knew of anyone that would move a 350C Blade Dozer, (about 10500lbs) from the Chattanooga TN area to the Philadelphia PA area (about 820 miles). The machine runs but doesnt move so it will need to be winched.

Thanks
-Andy

I could haul it on my trailer, yet dont know if you want to pay me in Maine to go get it.

Are you sitting down for this? $5554 for 2612 postal miles and 3 nights hotels.

Andy-

I know a transporter that specializes in old crawlers and is very reasonable on cost, however I don't know if he goes that far east and scheduling with him can be a challenge. If you aren't in a major hurry for the move, he is a great guy and is a man of his word. He moved a dead 2010 crawler loader with stuck brakes for me that had to be winched on and off so no problem there.

His name, incidentally, is Willy and you can get contact info from Lavoy if interested as I am not sure my info is current- Lavoy referred me to him. If Willy doesn't answer when you call, he will return your message when he gets to a good stopping point- he is almost always on the road. He runs out of Nebraska but goes all over the country.

I realize this thread has died, yet I found some info that maybe helpful.

There is a website just for perdicaments as this. www.Uship.com They will get your load to you no matter what the size of load. Basically a brokering agency with public in mind.
