Well I like others am going to atempt putting in a set of clutches

I noticed that I was loosing push power and when I would try to steer, it would just stop. It got worse the hotter it got and would sometimes drive 1 side when real hot. I got it stuck acouple times in some clay and had smoke come out from under the seat. Hope I am doing the write thing. Does any one have a good copy of a sevice manual with a complete break down they would like to sell? Also what is the average cost to do a job like this

I am soooo glad I found this site!
God Bless
P.S- Is that 350c on Ebay really worth 23k?

Check on Ebay for manuals, there are often manuals on there. Get a parts and service both, best way to do it.
I have clutch parts on hand, cost depends on what you replace.
By your description, I would guess you are going to find some oil in there. Be sure to fix the oil leak prior to putting in new clutches, or your money is wasted.
No, that 350 is not worth anything remotely close to that money.

I am so sorry!!!!

Its a 450c. I was looking at another tractor earlier. Duh. But are the drives the same? I am not sure if they are wet. How can I tell? I did notice that when I adjusted the brake nut that it had a little oil on it (not good). Dont give up on me! Just toooo many projects

I prefer to get the manuals right from Uncle Deere via download. That way you start with a clean copy and as long as you save the file you can reprint certain pages or diagrams you use frequently and replace pages that get damaged or lost or covered in hot chocolate when your wife comes outside to see what you are doing and sets her drink down right where you are trying to work.
