Lavoy,
I have what appars to be a tractor carburator on my crawler. it has a cable choke and I am under the impression that the 420 series used a rod for the choke. IT Is a TSX 088 and there is also a 57 stamped on the tag
any ideas.
thanks

Hi,
My 420c carb is a TSX 688, so maybe that '0' is really a '6'. I can easily see how a '6' might become a '0' either by a slight mis-hit when stamped or as crud builds up over time.
BTW, my 430w wheel tractor uses the exact same model carb. The 430w is a 1959 and the 420c is a 1958. Earlier 420's used a different model carb, but I can't recall the number out of my 'wetware'. :p
