350C losing reverser oil & transmission gaining

Post by JDfixer3 » Tue Nov 02, 2010 5:15 pm

I have a 350C loader that I bought with new brake bands and clutches "checked" this spring. I had ran it less than 20 hours when the reverser started "slow" engagement. I limped back to the barn and checked it over. The reverser was almost empty and the trans was way over full. I refilled the reverser, ran the machine until it warmed up and tested the reverser. It works and pushes fine. Unfortunately the oil levels are changing again. Since this was an "As Is" purchase I'll have to fix it. When I tried the 10 PSI air test like the tech manual shows I'm losing air around the control valve spool seals. Does someone have an idea on where to start? I hate to pull both finals off blindly. Thanks in adavance.

I don't know the particulars of the 350Cs, but these threads are specific to your model and problems and may help you:
