420 vs 430

Post by GraderDan » Sat Feb 25, 2006 5:32 am

Lavoy, I know I asked you this question before on the old web site and since the answers no longer exist and I can't remember the answers, will have to ask you again, what is the difference'es between a 420 and a 430 besides the slanted dash?
Thanks, Dan

If you have a very late 420, after 131,306 there is nothing different other than some cosmetic stuff, and the engine block has a RH dipstick hole.
Early 420 under 100,000 are actually more similar to a 40. Even on the 100,001-131,000 crawlers, they are quite similar. All functional specs are the same.
