I bought this loader about 3 monthes ago to clear some land and have been working it hard ever since. I brought it home to add some cage protection the rear of the ROPS and to add limb risers.

When stock those limb risers would have the ability to flex with the roll bar as it is on rubber mounts if you don't put flex in the system you will put big stress on the front rad mount and hard nose cowel .Digitup.

So I should add some rubber gromets under nose mount?? Maybe 1/2" thick to give them some flexing ability? Or do you have any suggestions? And which end has the flexing ability the nose end or the cage end. Thanks for the input dont wanna create any machine problems....

Some flex in there would be nice .It would be a lot easier on the rad and mounts .Digitup.

Thanks for the input I will add some rubber bushings and lock-nuts so I can run the bolts snug and not tight.
Thanks again!

Yeah the guy I bought it from had welded 2- 3/4"round rod on the center groove on each flight. So there are 1 1/2" cleats on them, lets just say u can tell where I drive it in the yard by the sheets of centipede grass peeled up.... But they work..

Never too aggressive I have several crawlers with 5 inch build ups on them and at 47 tons each they will paddle a lot of dirt These units can pull at 80,000 to 88000 LBS tractive pull in lose soil .They just have poor street manners and don't do much for the float planks either .That roll bar was made to take the front mount bolts out and flip it back on the ground behind the crawler then take the back bolts out and you can drive away from your roll bar .This way two men can take it off and put it back on ,So make the limb risers to flex and come apart at both ends for that reason if you can.Digitup.
