Back again with another question?

I'm having radiator problems now. After dealing with the Hydro pump and having the radiator out once already. I know how much fun it is without taking off the front cowl. What I really hope is that the front cowl will rotate foward after taking the 4 bolts loose. I have no way of taking the cowling off to get it out of the way. This is on a 450c loader by the way. Any help would be great thanks.

A loader would come in handy at this point that is for sure that is a heavy piece if steel that cowl is also far enough back from both tracks and if it's a loader then almost impossible to get out any other way.We used a large skid steer on a 450C last year and it was all that machine would do without sitting on it's nose to lift the cowl high enough to clear the loader arms when clear of the rest of the frame Digitup.

I just pulled the rad from my 450b after i buried it and needed to find the leak i was able to pull it without taking off the cowl but I will be pulling it off completely before i put it back together It just to tight and don't want to take a chance of damaging my new(recored) $800 radiator.I dont have a loader but I think I can sneak an wngine hoist on top of the tracks and the blade ( at least i hope so)

I just pulled the cowl off off of mine this afternoon the way I did it was a little redneck but it worked. I have a small compact tractor but no loader so I TOOK THE POWER HEAD off my auger and used the boom as a gin pole with a chain Came right off

Well 'll give ya'll a good laugh for the day. I went the redneck way also. I raised the front bucket all the way up and used the winch on the front of my 4 wheeler. I chained the 4 wheeler to a tree just in case and it worked out great. I have it all back together now and shes running great(fingers crossed). The cowl is not quite as heavy as I had imagined. Putting it back on the same way I got it off was not as easy. With the bucket being so far out in front I had to get someone to run the winch while I pushed it to the front and started a couple of bolts. By the way I used some 3" channel iron to hold the cylinders out while I was under the bucket. Thanks again guys for the help.

Hay moose I never found a use for the winch on the front of my 450 Yamaha yet Darnd !!.I got her in and went for the dozer to get it out .But I like the idea of strapping the 4 wheeler to the tree in case she try's to leave the seen .Yes that would put the 4 wheeler and the little electric winch to the test .My Waren is so slow that you could probably walk home faster but it will pull I had a Polaris before this and water logged the electrical system by way of 8 inches of water over the handlebars .I kind of decided that they don't make them for this and haven't even had to bath the Yamaha yet .Digitup.

I have to say it worked really good. Only problem is the distance between the bucket and the front end. That requires at least 2 people to pull it off. I'll post a pic if I can figure out how to get it off of my phone. OK I have the pic on my computer any one know how to put it in here?

Good luck I my self am not that computer friendly or I could put thousands of job site photos on the message board .We take photos on several job sites we take photos hourly or daily depending on the job site .they are all put on cd at the end of the month .But I can't get them on here my self .If I had the hours on a computer I have on a dozer or hoe I would be away to the races .Digitup.

Yep the ceiling is really tall. It also has heat and AC climate control depending on the season.
