440 loader

Post by jdaxle » Tue Jan 03, 2006 10:16 pm

just got the 440 yesterday and was looking it over :D Ihope to post some pictures very soon. It has a lever on left side of dash that is not hooked up to anything. I'm assuming that it is for the reverser. The previous owner said that it was unhooked years ago. he also said that he had trouble steering it in one direction. Lavoy, this is the one i asked you about the n liners. When I take the eng out to rebuild it, I a'm going to inspect the clutch and reverser. Do I need to inspect the steering cluches at that time or can I wait without going back into the fromt of the trans as money will probably be a factor. thanks again for your service.

one more thing, my uncle has a d4 traxcavator with a rebuilt eng. does anyone know of a good place to list it ?

It relates to how many posts you have made. As you make more posts, the crawler by your name gets newer.
