hyd valve '58 450 crawler loader

Post by rutfever » Tue Nov 11, 2008 10:04 am

I just replaced the float detent ring in my hydrolic valve and did an o-ring kit. When I put everything back and ran it, I get no power and very slow movement of the hydrolics. Could this be from the relief valve or is something else wrong? There was sand and rust inside the valve which I know isn't good, but everything worked ok before I "fixed" it.

I am so relieved I was able to adjust the relief valve and get the bucket working again! (Just in case anyone cares)

RF,
Glad to hear you got it figured out. Don't know why you didn't get a responce. Seems if no one responds right away the post doesn't get seen again because everyone is looking at the new posts and replies.
