Hi,
Hoping someone can help. My 350B runs like a champ for the first 30 minutes or so after startup and then suddenly starts to miss/cough/sputter. After cooldown, same cycle, etc. I've checked prior threads but can't find one on topic. Anyone have any thoughts? Your help would be much appreciated. Best regards, Tim
350B missing after running OK
Hi Tim-
There have been some threads about this- I will try and look for them but JDEMaris or one of these other guys probably remember the threads and can get to it before me.

Re: 350B missing after running OK
A long story short - if it's a diesel. The injection pump - if a D series (Deere DB or JDB) - has a piece of plastic inside of it that goes bad every 10-15 years, regardless of use. When it falls apart, the crawler will sputter out and die after being run for awhile. Then, after shut-down, will start fine - and run fine until it craps out again.tmlkenney wrote:Hi,

It can be fixed in a few hours and with $25-$50 in parts. It can also be upgraded for an additional $45. If you don't know anybody that knows how to work on it - then a cheap repair job will become a very expensive one.
