Hi,
We had one of those. Came with the 420c. It had never been used. The dairy farmer that originally bought dad's 420c bought both the 62 blade and the root rake.
he never used it, and neither did we. I left it sitting out behind the barn when I sold the place in NY. I didn't think I'd ever have a use for it, and didn't want to be bothered moving it.
I left a bunch of stuff out behind the barn - the barn scraper blade and frame for my old JD 'M' tractor, and the one-bottom land plow for it as well. There was an old disc, worn-out sickle bar mower, etc, etc.
The folks that bought the place thought that the old iron looked good sitting in the weeds around the barn, so they were just as happy that the junk stayed.
Well, the dozer root rake wasn't junk, of course, but the rest of it had been quite well used. That mower was most decidely junk, that's for sure.
Sorry that I left the root rake now. Someone could make use if it, I bet. I know I was right, though, I've never felt that I ever needed the thing....
Later!
Stan
