350 3 pt.

Post by PeterFroehlich » Fri Sep 30, 2005 3:55 am

I bought a pile of odds and ends at an auction, on one pallet there are the parts for a 3 pt. hitch and pto shaft. There is a curved bracket which is the same as the one under the drawbar of my straight 350, so I am assuming that the 3 pt. fits. How do I find out for sure? (Can't find a casting #.) I don't know why I'd need a 3 pt./pto on my machine, can somebody use it?

Some of the 350 parts are the same as the rest of the crawlers. If the drawbar bolts on exactly like the one on your 350, then you have at least one 350 part. 350 uses two cylinders to operate the 3PT, and has two large brackets that bolt to the sides of the crawler to hold the cylinder.
One other giveaway on 350 parts is on the pull arms. A 350 has pins that go crossways and are removeable to telescope the arms. All the rest of the crawlers have vertical pins that are spring loaded.
Someone on here was looking for a 350 3PT I think, but don't remember for sure.
There is a pic of my 350 with 3PT on the pictures page.
