I bought what I believe is a 350 crawler (serial number gone) that needs transmission work. I cant find a part number for the complete unit, I found a good transmission from a 350 b, are they the same? Both machines have reversers.
Thanks in advance.
My apologies if you have covered this in the past, I did look but didn't come across a thread.
350 transmission
Re: 350 transmission
There is no part number for a complete unit.
Hard to tell if the b model trans fits if you don't know what model you have.

Re: 350 transmission
I am fairly certain it is a straight 350 even though the guy I bought it from said it was a B model. It has power assist steering and it has its own pump mounted on top the engine. As I understand it this was not done on the B model. Also my reverser lever is on the dash on the left side. in looking at pics the B model ha sit on the left arm rest. Any clues if I am on the right track would be helpful.
Re: 350 transmission
I would agree that it is a straight.

Re: 350 transmission
The transmissions are the same or at least interchangeable. The differences will be in how they were optioned out when first purchased. They will be identical but one or the other may have a reverse gear installed or may have PTO installed. Either way they should work.

Re: 350 transmission
Thanks for the help. Monday I will be going to pick up the transmission I found. Hopefully have it back together soon.
