440 with 831 loader
I'm looking for guides as to how the hydraulic hoses were routed and where the relief valves, tees, and other fittings were mounted on my 440/831.
Hoses aren't a problem to have made up. I can do brackets and whatever myself. I just haven't found a picture anywhere to show me where things go. I'm not looking to do a factory fresh restoration, just like to make things as neat as I can.
On just about all the pictures I've come across on the net I can't see a thing.
I 'spect this'll be good documentation for more than just me.

Let me rephrase that...
I have Brad Kahler's CDs. Parts and operators manuals. Great scans by the way. Nothing to show me how they routed the lines or where they hung the relief valves or what the lines were strapped to.
Went to jdtechinfo.com and downloaded the 831 and 50/51 parts and service manuals. Yep, they do tell what size and how long to make the hoses and what the brackets looks like and even clues you in to the fact the two relief valves are bolted together but I still don't have clue as to where to situate all this stuff.
The flat rate manual from antique tractors was waiting for me when I got home this evening. Lotsa stuff, nothing on what and where.
Here's the deal... anybody that can provide me with photos of what I'm looking for gets a link to download the 831 and 50/51 pdf's (4 files) for free.
People tell me I'm too subtle. I'm trying real hard to correct that.

Michael,
I dug through my old literature and found an 831 operators manual, but there is no hose schematic other than the one you problably already have. There are some pics in it that show some of the hoses, but again, maybe no different than your service manual. I am not sure what to tell you. Let me dig through some more of my literature and see if I can find any more pics.

Lavoy, you put the board together, what else can i say. You done good. You done enough.
jac , A for effort, thanks.
I love it when a plan comes together. But I just got home from work (11pm) and I'm off to shower and all that other stuff.
Right now the lines running across the back of my crawler are hanging from a bungee cord... and i put the bugee cord there...
