350 track adjusters
recently purchased 350 crawler tracks are fully adjusted i need to put new seals in adjusters any recomendations on if there is way to remove link when track is split new to owning crawler just replaced all rollers on one side but feel i'm gonna have track trouble with them fully extended

Yes you can take a link out to get your adjusters pushed all the way back. It's going to cause you trouble later if you decide to fix the tracks with new pins and bushings. When fixing the track adjusters, you'll find the newer style seals that the 350Cs use work much better then the ones used in older 350s. Especially in worn adjuster-cylinders. To use the new seal you have to machine out the seal groove a bit. It was standard procedure in our Deere shop.
