reverser leaking

Post by David » Fri Mar 24, 2006 11:05 am

Lavoy, the reverser on our 1010c is leaking around the housing were it meets the back of the engine. What is the best way to stop this? does this have a gasket or seal that should be replaced?

Thanks!!
David

P.S. thanks for the discs, they work great!!

David,
If it is coming from inside the bellhousing, it could be the pump shaft seal. On some of them, there is a pressure line in there as well, it could be cracked or loose. Only way to tell is split it.
