I only start my 350C every 6 months or so. Sometimes it sits even longer But every time in the past it would start almost as soon as I hit the starter.
Yesterday I went to start it Battery was low but it turned over pretty good but NO start kinda felt like it was not getting fuel I have at least a 1/4 tank of fuel.
Battery should be fully charged now Will try to start it this afternoon. I can't recall if I can manually prime fuel with lever external of fuel pump
Any advice appreciated

JD 350C won't start
Fuel should not be your problem battery amperage may if sitting this long all diesel engines should be ran at least once every thirty days .some of my older stuff doesn't get this but I try not to let them sit to long as the oil will dry out in the main bearings and at six months that length of time is hard on an engine and battery's hate sitting as well .So watch for a week battery and run it for ten minutes every so often it is good for them Digitup.
Thanks you are correct, I tossed a charged battery on it this afternoon and it started as it usually does. I was in a panic as our parish have placed a new foundation and I have a fellow coming by tomorrow morn to move my dozer to the site so I can finish grade the site and cut a ADA compliant parking pad for handicapped parking. I was sure murphys law was in action as I needed this dozer to be ready for pickup. Glad it was only a discharged battery.
Yes I should run all my engines at least once a month Problem is I have to many toys and to many projects.
Thanks for the reply
