JD shop manual/service bulletin clutch adjust

Post by emmett » Sat Sep 01, 2007 9:59 am

Lavoy,

A while ago you posted a photo or link to a copy of a JD service bulletin on how to adjust the 420C steering clutch plate fingers, etc. I remember it but I did not copy it and I'd like to get a copy into my shop manual.

Think you can dig it up again?

Thanks,
Emmett

Bill Wattson...

That's the link!!!

Thanks...

Bill 49....

Watch out for that JD-7 guage... I suggest you either get one of Lavoy's guages ('bout $10) or if you have a JD-7, add a 1/8" standoff to the contact points against the driven disk.

See my topic

(especially Lavoy's input)

for details.

Ain't these tractors fun????
