Re: steering not working
I don’t see a reservoir anywhere so I’m guessing it’s just through the transmission. I appreciate the info to get the manual that will definitely come in handy. I need to check the fluid level tomorrow sometime and see. As far as the clutches go they were installed about 8 months ago they worked excellent on both sides u could turn it with just using your pinky finger pulling the lever back. They worked really well and then it sat for about a month and a half and I went to use it and one side would not let me turn when pulling the lever back. On about the third attempt I heard like a pop sound and it started back working although when I went to start pushing dirt I had some fuel issues with the engine surging. I went and parked it and it took me a while to get time to sort out the fuel issue about another month and half went by and now the fuel issue is good it was my lift pump but when I went to turn left or right nether are working. I’m thinking that the clutche plates are stuck possibly as I have checked the free play and adjustments for the clutch and brake bands and all are set correctly. Does anyone know of a good way to possible free them up I can go forward and reverse I’m sure if it is rusted plates I wouldn think they are that bad. I opened the clutch housing cover and the left side was dry and the right side has just a little bit of moisture mayb from hydraulic tank.
