I need to move my 2010 crawler, but was wondering how much it weighs. Thanks

2010 with loader weight

Post by Pammark » Mon May 07, 2007 12:53 pm

I ran a 2010 with loader across the scales back in Jan. It weighed in at 6.4 ton.

Not sure how much of that was loader.

I believe the loader part of the 2010 is a couple thousand pounds- I can tell you after I get home from work as my manual has that information.

The guy that sold me my 2010 crawler loader/Model 50 backhoe used a 3/4 ton diesel pickup with heavy duty gooseneck (21K) trailer. He said he pulled it all the time with that setup.

My crawler has a 6 way blade. I have a goosneck trailer and behind a 1 ton dually. I want to pull the crawler & a massey 175 tractor(w/loader). Tractor weighs just over 6k. Trailer is rated at 21k GVW. Is it overloaded or am I good to go?

I would say you would be ok . I don't know what manufacture your trailer is. Some trailer manufacturers rate their trailers as laden capacity and others will rate as gross capacity, meaning you would have to deduct the weight of the trailer itself. I don't know where you live or where you plan to haul to,but, you may want to make sure you are registered to haul that weight or you could end up paying a stiff fine. Just my two cents.

PER the operaters manual the basic 2010 crawler alone weighs 8492#, with fluids and the 6 way PAT blade, mine is just under 11,000#
And i hauled it home behind my Chevy 2500. Yes we were a bit heavy. Note the distance between the tires and fender..
