Hi,
Deere 440ICD crawler loader ad seen:
"Moves forward and reverse very good, but has a right side drive motor issue.(won't turn right easily) Either the drive motor is weak or has another issue."
Only $4k, if you know how to fix a drive motor issue.....
The rest is that is has been stored in a barn, and is the neighbor's machine, and so I can't really fault the seller for this too much. Thought it was funny, tho, and y'all might get a chuckle out of it as well.

Wouldn't be a bad deal, but track motors for 440's are really spendy!

Oh that explains it..I never thought of them... The politics was just a diversion to steal our parts.

Hi,
Hey! Maybe they swipe 'em to copy 'em. Russians do that. Then, we can buy brand-new track motors for our old iron. Just like vacuum tubes!

Not just any parts ....these specifically. The aliens from Mars want them to power their hyper drives and the Russians are working with them in trade for ray guns!
For real!
Anyone have a good buy on tin foil? I'm running low and my current hat is getting thin......

You folks with your fancy drive motor crawlers. My dozer just has bicycle crank pedals but I'm happy to have it!

More of us have "pedals" than we like to admit; step on the clutch, and the brake goes 'round too.

Had to break trail thru 6 feet of snow peppered with broken glass barefoot and when I was lucky, carrying a hot potato to keep my hands from freezing and eat later for lunch. I grew up in a muddy hole in the ground, and we were proud to have just that!
Have you been talking to my kids?
