I would normally agree, but under these circumstances, I listed it as general chunk of steel that had a detachable loader front end, that may or may not have ran in my original ad, the price increase comes from multiple avenues, 1 it is almost the in perfect loading spot next to major highway, not 10 miles back on a level B road(where it was), 2 I have taken most of the guess work out of it(why I started low), I know it will start, run, and load itself onto a tilt trailer under its own power, I have taken videos of it running and bucket operation, and that is why the price went up, (which I stated would happen from beginning) I am now selling a running 440 icd w/831 that has steering issues, of which(I am not as educated of these things as most of your readers,) I am sure the steering being the only issue I am aware of, and if can I will fix that too, it is worth considerable more than it sitting there as a paper weight, also take in consideration, even though we arent as segregated from the rest of the us as Alaska is, getting items like this into the region is a bit complicated at times, but the fact that here, we have camps, acres and acres of stumps trees and rocks, makes this item else where a fun toy to have or a wonder machine to restore, here the guy I want to sell this to is going to be hopefully dragging timber out of back 100 to help keep his family warm this this winter, or maybe even build his house with them. I priced this before as basically scrap that someone might be able to pull a few parts to complete theirs, now after hearing it run and operate, they might need parts of theirs to finsh this one, I am not the most diverse guy when it comes to this equipment, but I have read numerous ads of people not being able to get theirs to run, so in honesty, what is a running motor, and 5 speed tranny for a crawler that works worth? not to mention a fully functional 831 loader front end worth? So yes most of the time the price goes down when its a "parts" machine, just not in this case.
