Too busy cleaning up the tornado mess to be able to work on the 450. I could get by with just a crank and one rod and I have seen them for sale on the net. I advertised for a complete engine on Kijiji and listed all the possable tractors it could found in, but no calls yet.
I will need to use the backhoe to pull stumps around the yard this summer so sometime in May-June I will need to get to it.
I did however talk to a guy who has another 350 loader that has not ran in 10 years and sounds like it has the wide tracks. It is on the back of a old truck that goes with the crawler and has not started in 10 years as well. I will go see it Thursday if the weather holds.
In the meantime, some photos of my 450b...with the engine out
...
Well there it is, with the home built ripper blade as a bonus!
I think the clock might be wrong...
But the seat looks good..
and the gauges are all there,,
I havent even has time to look up the serial number yet..
And the undercarriage, what do you think?
I'm thinking this old dozer might fix up nice...

,and I,m a grampa now!
I havent yet figured how to get all the photos down to size, I thought I had but I am getting better...
I have never driven a 450 so I am looking forward to getting it going.
