lavoy: this tractor has the original pump on front of motor no lines no tank and no controls, the loader has everything on it pump runs off front of motor with shaft. i know you said good advice not to put loader back on but given the options should i get the lines and hyd tank (on ebay for $300) and controls and then blade. (loosing my mind farming season started too!!!)

well i guess i need to see which pump has better pressure, I am not one for to many headaches. realy want a dozer,but not looking good for that maybe come across one that has dozer set up and leave this one as loader and make modifications. picture you have has a rear weight dont have a clue where to get it but i can build one knowing the mounting place. or if i had some measurements I can fab a blade, i have picture of blade but no measurments.

The pump on the camshaft (according to John Deere) is only 900 psi. Granted on my dozer the lowest I could go was 1500# on the valve body.

well i guess i need to run all my ideas through you all because you defenetly smarter on these crawlers lol. so the pump on loader should be used and watch what i lift with it to not overload pump but it should have a bypass to keep from damaging pump right?

All hyd systems have a bypass somewhere, whether in the valve itself, or in line somewhere.
The main problem with a loader on an MC is breaking undercarriage parts, predominately front idler brackets.
If you are going to put the crawler back to original hyd valve and such, then you will want the cam pump.

If it has been a loader crawler, I would look at all of the rollers, usually the most forward rollers will be very badly worn or broken. The front idlers on an MC are undersize, so all of the load is basically held up by the two forward rollers, and eventually they break.
Check the angle irons on the track frames where the front idler brackets slide, sometimes they will start to break the welds and pull away from the trackframes. Check the trackframe for alignment and straightness to make sure they are not twisted. Take the front idlers apart and make sure the bushings in the idler are not cracked or broken as well as the cone of the idler bracket that the bushing rides on.
