2010 6way spool rebuild

Post by hemiracing » Sat Apr 09, 2011 9:05 am

Has anyone rebuilt the six way blade control valves. This is the last leaking that I have on my machine. Still works fine but there is always some weeping under the valve body. With the help of someone from here last year I found the parts manual for the 622 blade with a good blowup of the valve. Most of the o-rings gasket and seals can be found and I think this will stop the leaking. My question is should I be watching for anything when I do this, as I cannot find any service info on this. I don't want to stop the leaks, to find that I now have a valve that does not work right. Any help would be great.... Paul

I have had a couple of Case valves apart, they are pretty simple.
The one thing is clean the heck out of it before you remove it and be very careful about dirt specks or paint chips....you can't be to clean messing with hydraulics.
