After a short hiatus, I have been reunited with the 440ICD I traded away a year ago.
I had gotten frustrated with it as I kept throwing the tracks even after busting my butt on new clutches, bearings and seals in both Final Drives and putting on new JD 350 sprockets (re-rimmed to my old 440 centers), new front axles too. And the 350 chains and rails were 95%.
I then read in one of the older posts NOT to re-rim if I had the deep dish sprockets...I am not sure if I do or dont, but if I do, would that cause the chains to walk off the machine under a heavy bucket load during a 90 degree turn coming out of the pile????
I hope I didnt do all that work for nothing.
Getting ready for round 2.

Yes I do have counterweights even though they werent on it when I got it.I found a set locally.
I dont have a photobucket account, but if you go to youtube -"Pushing dirt in Americas hometown"
and
"Still pushing dirt in americas hometown" you can see that while building my daughter a house in the back 40 she filmed the 440 in action.
I am at a loss as to what may be happening with the tracks.
