A few pictures of the progress:
The area before digging started (taken a few months ago):

Just starting to cut in with the crawler. Our whole property has a diagonal slant to it.

Earth is filling in part of the pull-through driveway that we had but never used. I already formed the bank with the 40C when this picture was taken:

Originally, the driveway looked like this (taken when we first bought the home):

Now it looks like:

Borrowed a very nice JD 2440 with JD 146 bucket loader from a farmer friend of mine. At the end of the project (3 days) it had only used 5 gallons of diesel and moved a lot of earth.

The project as of today. I have the area roughly leveled with a pile of earth left for final leveling if needed. Will be putting in a 6" gravel pad with 1- rock soon. When I backed the RV in, it was dead level. I couldn't believe it.

The crawler has done sterling work during this progress, but the #76 blade has got to go. It's heavy enough that it really unbalances the dozer if it has much dirt in it and I lift it. Makes grading very difficult.
