Dozer blade angle

Post by JD40c » Sat Feb 25, 2006 12:31 pm

The pin and pivot points on the #76 blade on my 40C are seriously worn out. I'm welding in new pivot points. What angle of attack should the blade have? Should it be perfectly vertical? Or should the top be tilted back a bit, say an inch or two, compared to the cutting edge so that it cuts better?
