Closure for the looming question of the "4th hole" in the dash.
I found an LP dash in the parts book and it has a different part number. I cannot see the layout, but it has to be different for them to give it a different number.
So, the "4th hole" was indeed for radiator shutters and a carry over from the model 40.
I can't wait to make that hole the "Brake Lock/Release Knob".

Sorry I was away so long, I looked in the parts book too but the only thing that used an LP-specific dash was the 430, because it retained the 420 dash instead of the new one to have enough room for the tank.

I looked up the number on mine but it is nowhere in the parts book. Pretty sure it isn't special though.

I also looked up the LP parts and it looked like they did use that hole for one of the knobs on the LP model.

Anyways, glad everyone likes it! I do need to stress that I put the hole too far up on that latch and the knob has too much travel, you should locate the hole 3/4" from center of rotation.

The 3rd picture has been replaced with a better one...
