1010 loader with backhoe for sale

Today I drove by a 1010 loader/backhoe parked by the road with a for sale sign on it so I stopped to check it out. It turns out it was owened by a gentleman who drowned in Lake Michigan trying to save his 16 year old grandson who also drowned. This was about two weeks ago And I happened to be standing there talking to the boys father. He said "mom" wanted it out of there.
It appears pretty straight with a couple coats faded paint on it. The son said his father in law had gone through the engine but it sounded like he had put a injection pump and injectors on it. He said he had gone through one of the finals but didn't know which one. He had the tracks too tight but the adjuster was all the way to the end of the frame rail. Sprockets didnt look bad. The backhoe is a donut cylinder but he said once he got the hoses correct he dug a hole with it and it all worked. I have observed this crawler in different locations on the property for a couple of years.

what a horrible lost for a family,can't even imagine what that would be to go through.
