1968-69 John Dreere 450 for sale
Due to reasons of a personal nature I am selling my dozer. It has a diesel engine rebuilt about 3 years ago. It has low hours since rebuilt. Last year after digging a pond and other work I replaced the following, new sprockets, track chains, both new upper rollers, three new lowers, and the rest of the lowers good used ones. I also replaced the bearings and seals in the front idlers. Rebuilt both track adjusters. While doing the work I removed every broken bolt, chased all threads, reused the good bolt's and replaced the rest with grade 5 and 8 depending on location. I used anti seize on everything so if it needed to come apart for any reason it would make it easier. Replaced two track pads the rest are good, and 75% of the track pad bolts. It's a manual 6 way blade, could use some work on blade pins and holes, getting sloppy.Has ROPs, new seat and arms. OK now the down side, it was stored inside last year, the steering clutches are haveing issues. I am not sure if it's an adjustment issue or sticking on the left side. On the right side I believe the steering clutch needs replacing. At $6500 it's a deal and I'm lossing my butt. I have some pic's if your interested, send your e-mail to me.Sorry this is so long.
