My neighbor offered the use of his JD 350B dozer if I would help out with installing a new brake band.....specifically with buying the replacement parts.
I've found several sources for the brake band and have a pretty good feeling for what it will cost. My question is, what other parts can I expect to replace once we're into the teardown? Am I looking at replacing the band only or is it likely that there will be other parts to replace also?
Thanks for your replies.

Definitely look at steering clutches, pressure plate, throwout bearing, and all the linkages while you are in there. It is kind of unlikely that you will only need the brake band. Or, if nothing else, it would not be wise to have the final off and not look at replacing any other parts, unless you like pulling finals.
I have all the steering clutch stuff on hand normally.
