My Final Drive Housing is cracked on my early 1010.
It looks like the RIGHT & LEFT SDES are the same ?????
QUESTION IS IN OBTAINING A REPLACEMENT - what MODELS maybe compatible -( eg. 40 / 420 / 430 / 440 / 1010 early- late / etc . ) ??
Thank You and HAPPY NEW YEAR
John

Yes, left and right are the same. Only compatability is maybe very late 440, and early 1010.
I have nothing on hand right now, but should be able to find you one if you want me to.

Thanks Lavoy
I saw someone has some listed on ebay in NY -- but not sure about the application -- he has a casting number ( T12912T ) but it isn't what my parts book says --------- shipping can be $$$$$$$$$ so you like to know if its right -------- I've made errors in judgement before ....

I think I know the ones your are talking about, and all I can say is be careful, I know someone that has had experience with the seller.

Thanks again Lavoy --
I suppose this again isn't a tech question ------- but everyone knows everyone in the Dakotas -------- My Brother-inlaw operates P&K Machining out of Wahpeton.
I believe the person with the JD parts in NY is in Buffalo - calls himself Euclid ...
Do you deal some in tractor parts?

Don't recognize P & K, but I don't do any business in Wahpeton.
I have new tractor parts, no used unless it is something common with a crawler.
