First of all, Lavoy, the parts arrived. Thanks
Now the fun begins. Starting to reassemble the machine. However, I never took the throw out bearing cam and quills apart to clean and inspect them. They seem to work fine and I am going to replace the springs and replace the throw out bearing. Any thoughts on whether I should take everything apart since I am working on them anyway?

OK, removed the throw out bearing carrier. Now trying to get the cam out. To get the cam out I need to remove the cam rod which is connected by two ball joints. Have removed the nut that holds the top ball joint bolt to the rocker arm on the brake lever, but not enough room to clear the bolt from the rocker arm. Could pull the entire lever assembly out but the steering arm is pretty rusted to the shaft. Can the "ball" be removed from the ball joint? I loosened the two jam nuts at the ball joints but could not remove the ball from the either ball joint. Is there some other trick to remove the cam rod? Since everything is rusted, hard to tell what is correct method to remove this rod.

Thanks. Was able last night to get everything out. Tube was slightly out of round at the end so the cam was tight at the very end, but it came off. Was able to remove the rod after using penetrating oil to loosen up some rust. Everything looks usable with a little cleaning. Having taken one side apart, the other side should be much easier.
