Hi all, I'm new here and just passing on something I spotted yesterday at a local srap yard - I think it was a 430 if I was reading it correctly - it had a bucket on the front too. I'm a collector of old outboards and this is way beyond me, but I know when folks get the bug, they can get it bad.
Anyway, if this is of any help to anyone, it's in New Braunfels, TX at Comal Iron and Scrap - there was also an unknown grader there too of similar vintage I'm guessing.

Spotted: 430?
Any interest in photos?
I can stop by today after work and get a photo with my phone if anyone has interest in this old beast.
You can kiss all the old iron good-bye with the price of steel now. One of the farmers around here bought an old Michigan rubber tired bulldozer several years ago and we fixed it all up, my dad and I did a complete paint job and valve job in the head and other work here and there. It was great for packing forage in in-ground silos but the Mexicans eventually complained that it was too hot to operate (aren't they from MEXICO??). So they started using some tractor with duals and parked the Michigan for 3 years. A random guy came by and told the farmer he'd pay $4,000 if he could haul it off for scrap, and the man took the offer. My dad tried to get his brother (also a farmer) to buy it for the 4 grand and actually use it, but he can't come up with the money just now, so its fate is pretty much sealed...
