Post by JD-thomas » Thu Apr 15, 2010 2:18 pm

I have a 450 loader it is a a made in france machine, I am triing to identify the motor so I could start the search for a block. These are the numbers I have found:
On dash Model 7450 serial 001666CD
On motor block data tag: Type M53L6 series 096721CD
Stamped on motor over oil filter 186 stamped vertically and 32342 beside it stamped horizontally.
And under the valve cover T24 758 located around valve springs

I just wanna know what it is if its a 4-219 or what it is non turbo Please any help would be great!! :?: :?:

You will have to measure your sleaves bore and wrist pin stroke. It is realy hard to say if you don't have a 202 cubic inch engine or a 219 or something else .If you can match the bore and stroke you may be able to tell what you need that should be a German build engine.Deere only made so many different bores in two locations so you should be able to match bore and stroke .Digitup.
