Lavoy, was wondering if you had any block heaters to go on our straight 350 crawler?

I use a tank heater, I do not think there is a freeze plug anywhere on the 350 blocks. As far as tank heaters, they are available in 850, 1000, and 1500 watts. I think we have 1000's on our 350's, the 1010, and the HD3, although an 850 would be highly adequate as well.
If you don't want to tap into the cooling system, I can get silicone pad heaters up to about 500 watts as well. You would have to take the belly pan off, and the oil pan has to be perfectly clean before you put the heater on though.

Lavoy, just wanted to get some more imfo on that tank heater, how big of a hole do you need to drill and tap and how much does the 1000 watt heater run? I also have the belly pan off, if I went with the oil pan heater, how well do they work? I have seen them somewhere else, but don't know of anyone who has tried them.
